Assessment is classroom research to provide useful feedback for the improvement of teaching and learning. Assessment is feedback from the student to the instructor about the student’s learning. Evaluation uses methods and measures to judge student learning and understanding of the material for purposes of grading and reporting. Evaluation is feedback from the instructor to the student about the student’s learning.  During my assignments focusing on the assessment and evaluation processes, I focused on my teaching career in developmental mathematics in the utilization of pre-diagnostics and final exams using a set of questions to measure the growth of knowlege in each objective area.  There were also other outside evaluation methods and assignments included in the assessment and evaluation process. The following areas of assessment are listed below.
